Misunderstood stories in the Torah, re-examining familiar stories with deeper commentary with a new understanding and perspective

In this study session, we will revisit some of the most familiar stories in the Torah. These stories many of us first encountered as children but we will look at them through a different lens. The narratives of the Torah are often more complex and nuanced than the simplified versions we remember. By examining these texts through new insights we might just uncover interpretations that challenge our assumptions and open new ways of understanding faith, leadership, morality, and human nature. We will discover that the Torah is inviting us to ask deeper questions and to see these ancient stories in a new and meaningful light.
